Saturday October 2nd, 2010 was the inaugural Muscle By The Lake event at the Nicewander's lake front home. The brisk fall weather didn't deter the 13 cool cars and 28 even cooler people.
The cars included several vintage and late-model Mustangs, a hand built Cobra, a late 60's Dodge R/T, an early 70's Road Runner, an F150 which probably could out run most of the cars, a couple of Pontiac Trans Ams, and even a really nice Miata (bring what you love!).
We had a potluck with grilled burgers and brats for lunch, had ample time to talk about both the "good old days" and the "cool current days" as it relates to Muscle Cars, and enjoyed getting to know a bit about each of the rides.
We concluded the day with a 14 mile back roads cruise to historic Jordan where we partook of coffee and ice cream at Carasim Coffee Shop which resides in a turn of the century
building on main street and a look
at the town's small waterfall.
